The only way you can relive the birth and first few days of your baby’s life is by capturing photos that will outlast the moment in time. You’ll never regret having the photos, but you may regret not having them.
Every birth is beautiful. Every birth deserves to be documented. Whether you’re planning a hospital vaginal birth, cesarean, birth center, or a home birth, I can be there to document it. I arrive when you are in active labor, and stay for 1 hour after your birth to document the newborn check as well. I leave just in time for you to take a deep breath and enjoy your sweet baby you waited 9 months to meet! You will receive 150 edited photos in a private gallery.
Investment: $1,200; book both birth and fresh 48 sessions together and save $ (bundle total: $1,500).
Capturing the tiny details within 48 hours is so special… the tiny toes, little ears, and the way your baby grasps onto daddy’s finger. For your fresh48 session, I come to your baby’s birth place and capture your family before discharge. I will stay for 1 hour, and you will receive 40-50 edited photos in a private gallery.
Investment: $425; book both birth and fresh 48 sessions together and save $125 (bundle total: $1,500).
For as long as I can remember, I have loved birth and babies. I have always secretly hoped my friends and family would invite me to their birth. It is an honor to be invited into your intimate space of labor and delivery.
After I had my fourth baby, I knew I needed to be in the birth space. It feels like this is where I belong…with laboring mothers and supportive fathers experiencing the modern miracle of birth. My personal birth and fresh 48 photos are my most treasured photos. I flip through them every birthday, first day of school, and sometimes on a random Thursday night. It’s now time for me to return the gift of priceless photos to other growing families.
I'll be in touch soon!
thank you for your inquiry!
In your last few weeks of pregnancy, we will be in communication. It is common for expectant moms to share details that may indicate labor is approaching. Don’t worry, I’m a mom of four and have been where you’re at. Nothing is ever TMI for me, I promise! Typically, when you leave for the hospital/ birth center, you (or your partner) will notify me. I will arrive when contractions are 5ish minutes apart, lasting 1 minute each. This may vary, depending on your birth history.
I will stay around 60-90 minutes after delivery. I will capture your babies newborn check: weight + footprints… and daddy holding baby for the first time! I leave just as everything in the room starts to settle down, and you’re able to relax and enjoy your new precious baby.
Whoever is in your delivery room during delivery will be documented… Your birth team is your team for a reason! They are an integral part of your special day, and capturing them is crucial to documenting your birth story!
I will document what you want me to document! I’ve had some moms want it ALL- every angle, photos of the placenta…you name it! and I’ve had others that want more modest photos which are typically taken from above the moms shoulder during time of birth. This is why it’s important for me to understand your desire of what you want documented!

However you choose to birth, I will photograph. Home birth, birth center, hospital, c-section… I’ve done it all! Every birth deserves to be documented. Every birth is beautiful.

You can wear whatever you’d like! I highly recommend neutral colors. Soft whites/tans/ blues and pastels photograph well. Red should be avoided!
Fresh48 are taken within 48 hours of birth, at your babies birth place. Newborn photos are typically taken once your baby is a few weeks old, and a lot more posed.
Your session time will depend on the time your baby is born. We will only be able to schedule this once you have had your baby. This is why I am on-call, and available for you starting at 38 weeks.
My goal is 60 minutes. If you have twins, it will take a bit longer, of course.
Absolutely! I typically like the older sibling(s) to come 30 minutes into our session. This allows for me to spend some time capturing the baby solo first.
A light tidy is helpful as we will be working in a tight room and the last thing you want is your leftover lunch plate sitting in the background. Give this responsibility to your spouse, they will surprise you with how well they can clean up!
I’d love to meet with you via phone call/zoom. This helps us both feel like we’re on the same page as we go into such a special time of your life!
